Description

Hot rolled: It is made by thermo-mechanical process reducing the thickness of slabs with the use of high temperatures. This product is used to produce tubes, gas cylinders, building constructions, bridges, rails and vehicle chassis. The hot rolled products can be supplied in coils or in plates cut to a certain length. Hot rolled also serve as entrance for making cold rolled products.

Cold rolled: Subjecting hot rolled products to a new cold lamination it is obtained a new reduction of thickness and better visual aspect.

• Full hard: Cold rolled steel not annealed, very work-hardened, destined to later process of annealing or hot dip metal zinc coating.
• Annealed: After cold reduction, the annealing provides heat treatment to recover its mechanical properties to re-crystallize and recover the desired ductility for later operations of cold forming.
• Black Plate: Annealed material adequate to be processed as base material for tinning and chroming lines to produce tinplate and TFS.

Stainless Steel: It is a steel alloy with minimum 10% chromium content by mass. It is highly corrosion-resistant, and is used for making home appliances, vehicles exhaust pipes, building facades, ...
